Northern Trust is pleased to confirm that they have been granted two separate planning permissions for a total of 76,322 sq ft new industrial development on their site on Cliftonhall Road in Newbridge.
The planning permissions obtained are for two distinct phases of development. Phase one will provide 14 units totalling 28,413 sq ft with individual unit sizes ranging from 1,045 sq ft up to 4,154 sq ft. The scheme is arranged into 3 terraced blocks with the centre block incorporating back to back units. Each of the units will incorporate an office space with dedicated parking to the front and generous circulation space.
Phase 2 comprises of four larger units arranged in a single terraced block with sizes from 8,877 sq ft up to 15,150 sq ft.

We are planning to start work on the first phase later this year, and when completed this will complement our existing ownership in Scotland which is now approaching 500,000 sq ft of multi-let industrial and office accommodation.”
The site itself is situated in the heart of Newbridge, off Cliftonhall Road, close to the M9 and M8 interchange.
Work on the first phase of the development is scheduled to commence in in Autumn, and when completed the site will be actively managed by Northern Trust’s in house managing agents Whittle Jones Scotland.
